The infamous Ruby Woo by MAC is loved by many and I have to say - I love it too. I've been using Ruby Woo for well over a year now and it is the truest and most perfect red lipstick I have came across.
I wasn't sure how it would look on my pale skin but after doing a bit of research I came to realise that this is a lipstick which is flattering on all skin types from the darkest to the palest. This lipstick is a matte finish which can sometimes cause a few problems with drying out the lips but popping a lip balm underneath helps to keep the lips from drying out so much and using a lip brush will help to make application easier as it can sometimes feel you are dragging the lipstick across your lips due to the formula. The matte finish however does have its benefits as the lipstick stays put for ages - I've been able to eat and drink with this on and not needed to top-up. This is not something that you would normally care for in a lipstick however it is worth noting that these smell amazing... seriously.

i have decided that due to my dry lips i dislike matte lipstick. However if they have a non matte version i am unaware of please let me know ;P
ReplyDeleteTry Russian Red! Very, very similar in colour and still a matte finish but definitely no where near as drying as Ruby Woo, it's much more creamier:) x
